Background
MedCare at Home was incorporated in October 2011 and has been in operation since December of the same year. The leadership team are professionals having well over 40 years of combined experience in dealing in high end services industries i.e. hospitality, financial services, customer service, dealing with premium customers across the ITES / Technology and Banking domains. Having worked with companies such as The Oberoi Hotels, Wipro, HSBC and Bank of America the promoters are very experienced in servicing high end customers.
Mission and Vision
The primary objective of our company is to provide end-to-end premium home healthcare services to those who need it at home. We specialize in providing domiciliary care to patients / elderly in the comfort of their homes. The business and the leadership have the support of an experienced Advisory team and backed by a team of medical professionals. Our services are currently being provided in the Delhi and NCR Region and we expect to cover other major cities by the later part of 2019.
We aim to provide professional and comfortable Home Healthcare Services and make MedCare at Home a recognized leader in this domain.
Leadership Team
Sachin Shahane
Co-founder (MedCare At Home)
Experience of 25 + years in Operations, Sales and General Management in the Hospitality and ITES space. He is a product of the Oberoi School of Hotel Management and has worked with Oberoi Hotels in numerous positions. He was one of the first few employees in the BPO start up Spectramind (funded by ChrysCapital) and then Wipro BPO as General Manager Operations. He was Head of Operations for Global Vantedge Ltd. (India’s Leading Offshore Receivables Management company) and then worked with Aegis in various capacities across functions, before starting up and managing MedCare At Home, a home health care services provider along with Rahul Mehra his Co-founder.
Rahul Mehra
Co-founder (Medcare at Home)
Extensive and meaningful work experience of 35+ years (India and Overseas) in Operations and Marketing with HSBC, Bank of America and Bank of Credit and Commerce International. He started up and manages MedCare At Home, a home health care services provider for the last 7 years along with Sachin Shahane. He has significantly contributed to its profitability and has stayed focused on growing the business and capitalizing on emergent opportunities in the healthcare space.
Ashok Chadha
Advisor
Ashok is a gold medalist MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur. He brings to the team extensive experience in Finance and General Management, having worked for both Eicher and EI DuPont Ltd. He has worked with start-ups like, DuPont Kurlon Ltd. as Managing Director and Spectramind as Associate Chief Operating Officer. Later he was President of Global Vantedge Ltd. where he helped execute a turn around and successful exit. Over the last 10 years he has been working independently as a turnaround consultant in a diverse range of Industries ranging from Analytics, IT Services, BPO, Power, Financial Services, Cable and Broadband etc.
I would like to commend both Pushpa and Mamta on their services. Pushpa is very very caring and goes out of her way to help Ma. Ma gets violent with her, but she takes it in her stride, and infact counsels us to overlook. Mamta too has been extremely helpful in understanding Ma’s needs and being flexible in caregiving. I have been using the services of MedCare @ Home since 2014, and I am very satisfied with them. The caregivers are reliable and good. Two of them looked after my mother for more than 2 years with such patience and affection till she passed away last month. Now I have very good people looking after my father, and my mother-in-law. The attendants provided by MedCare @Home are professional and good. They are punctual, clean and pleasant. They would do well if the company provided more training on soft skills to add greater value. Training should also focus on people skills to help getting along with each other.
